When nightmares attack me, Lord you are there

These last few months have been spiritually scary for me, never in my life have I had such terrible nightmares about my children. I wake up with fear and constantly cry over the images that run through my mind like a movie playing over and over again. A lot of the times in my dreams I’m yelling for Gods protection and his angels, rebuking the enemy and I can’t seem to wake up until the dream is over.

The enemy is constantly wanting to shake me and many times has succeeded, we have to realize that we are fighting with principalities of the spirit and not carnal ones and to win we have to fight back with spiritual warfare. Strengthen ourselves as mothers with prayer, scripture and God PROMISES to watch over our children, if we as Christian mothers think that there is no enemy than we are foolish. There is an enemy waiting to devour us and our children and if we aren’t armed than how can we win or have we become so blind to the spiritual realm that we simply can’t feel or see the enemy’s attack?

People don’t talk about this because it’s a “taboo” topic but if scripture says that there’s evil waiting to attack and we must resist it and it will flee, if it continually tells us to pray for strength, to pray for courage than what are we thinking it’s for?

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4

I believe there is an emended wanting to attack us spiritually but I also believe in the name of Jesus! I believe his name has power and has promised us protection! Don’t be fooled or distracted, pray over your children, pray over your household and your salvation.
Here is some scripture that I always read when the enemy is wanting to attack me:

“Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). Christ’s name is Protector, the Good Shepherd that gives His life for His sheep.

“The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.” Psalm 34:7

“For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” Psalm 91:11

“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Psalm

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and You right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me …” Psalm 138:7

“In the day when I called out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.” Psalm 138:3

Lord you have promised to watch over those who love you, fear you and obey your word. You’ve promised to send angels to protect us, lord don’t forget to watch over my children. Protect them, guide them, save them in your Son’s Holy and powerful name! Who’s name is more powerful than anything the enemy puts in my dreams. Lord take control of my mind as I sleep that I may rest in peace and wake up with you on my mind. Deliver me and my household from the enemy and give us all we need to fight this spiritual battles against the one who has already been defeated! IN JESUS NAME LORD! Hear me lord and don’t forget me, don’t forget about my children my inheritance father. Amen
