Forever thankful for Jesus

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Today I wanted to encourage you with this bible verse. Like many, I hold it near and dear to my heart. What an amazing verse! How beautiful is that?

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

When I first came to Christ and I truly understood what Jesus had done for me.. I was so taken back. Anyone else? It took me a while to truly grasp the concept and took it for granted many years. When I understood, my mind and heart shriveled up in thankfulness.

Him, being perfect in every way looked at me as saw something worth dying for.

He saw my wickedness and called me free.

He saw the stains of sin and called me clean, a new creation.

My mind can’t comprehend the love he had for me.

His love, his mercy, his grace, and his never ending forgiveness. I will never be able to thank him enough for reaching down the hole I had dug.

For taking my hand and giving me a new life, a life I didn’t deserve.

My hearts desire is to please him with my life, my obedience and heart.

When I see him face to face I want to hear, “well done my good and faithful servant.” I want to thank him for changing my life and destiny.

It’s never to late to come to Jesus friend. You’re never to young, and you’re never to old.

He loves you so much, he took upon himself what was meant for you and declared you free! I don’t understand why… but he did and I’m forever thankful.

He loves you so much, don’t forget that.

Take today to think about what he has done for you. Allow him to show you just how wonderful he is. Thank you Jesus.
