I was married at 16 to my still husband.  I can’t believe we have made it this far. The same way I give God all the glory for who I have become as a mother since giving my heart to him, the same way I can not take credit as a wife.

God has shown me what a marriage is supposed to be like according to his perfect design. It wasn’t until we gave our hearts to Jesus that our marriage changed. My husband and I after being legally married for only 3 years, were going to call it quits and get a divorce. God reached out and took us in his hand, because of him we are still married, we are still choosing to be in love and through forgiveness we choose to stay in Love.

Being married is hard, without God directing us, we don’t stand a chance against a world that teaches us that we can fall out of love… not true. We must choose to love, the way God choose to Love us. I can’t wait to share with you all my heart.

For blog posts about marriage and love you can look under “Categories” in Marriage.

Ephesians 5:22

“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word”

  1. That’s so wonderful. I’ve been wanting to connect with you two for some time. It’s wonderful to hear about your healing in your marriage and where you’ve come from. Thank you for being raw and real and allowing your Heart to be heard and hopefully help others.
